If you've watched it yet, thoughts on sweet juice by purple kiss? I loved it and it's ending with the ya ya part was so good. I forgot how well purple kiss ends their songs. With the mv, it's super fun! I liked the atmosphere. I think there's references to horror movies but I couldn't catch them bc I don't watch much horror. I'm super excited to listen to the album !!

Oh I forgot to talk about the choreo. THE FLOOR CHOREO IS INSANE IM GOING TO PRAY FOR THEIR KNEES (though it looks like their grey outfits come with knee pads)

I think this may be one of my fave choreos from them. Also, is it just me or do they all feel even more sophisticated? Energized? Idk they got even better with presence and acting like how? And everything seems to flow well in terms of line distribution idk this era is just so good already

looooooooooooooove sweet juice, it's my new favourite title track from them!! it does feel a lot more settled and mature for them; they likely worked very hard to recalibrate their group synergy in rehearsal and it's paid off by really cementing their confidence. it's one of their best choreos easily and i love the design, it's so concise and intentional. obvs their prev cbs have been very good, but they've mostly been sort of on the vaguer side of conceptual frameworks, like misc gg horror fantasy or girl crush. zombie was a little bit more specific with the y2k school cult horror, but my one issue with rbw's stylists is that they sometimes lose the thread of the design because their groups promote for five weeks straight. actually i wouldn't even say this is a stylist issue bc coming up with five weeks of different costumes on the same theme would run anyone dry, so it's more a company problem, but i found that with some of purky's other cbs their styling petered out and had a varying scale of more/less relevance to the concept. but with sweet juice there's a VERY specific theme and specific media that they're drawing from, so the imagery in the mv is all purposeful, and they cut down the amount of different stylings in favour of repeating them more, which i personally think was the right choice for this cb. it gives all the looks more visual weight and a stronger connection thru the mv and the other promotional media. plus all the outfits were soooooooo good.

tbh this is probably gonna end up on my best choreos list so i'm not gonna talk about it too much, but huge fan of how they actually thought about using costuming as a key point in the choreo with the lil skirt flips, which is most obvious with the bellhop outfits!
